For morning announcements at our elementary school, I thought it would be fun for the students to make an announcement about Constitution Day and inform the school about this historical day. Because we are on summer break and I have NO children in my household anymore (or even in my neighborhood), you will have to pretend that this was made by a 5th grade class. The students would need to research Constitution Day and write an introductory paragraph. Each student would be responsible for saying a name and giving a fact or two about that person. Constitution Day is celebrated on September 17th of every year, so the class would begin the school year with a short research project and a quick lesson with music and audacity.
